Rally Day and Homecoming Sunday marks the beginning of the new church school and program year! This year, we’ll mark Rally Day and Homecoming on September 11! Sunday School starts at 9AM, our worship service begins at 10AM, and we’ll follow worship with a community luncheon!
After a busy summer, this service is a great opportunity for our church family to gather in a big way. We’ll be kicking off our children, youth, and family programming, and we’re also encouraging people of all ages to bring their friends and families! Our goal is to fill the pews on September 11 with a great day of worship, fellowship, and celebration!
If you have children and grandchildren, bring them on September 11 as we kick off the start of our fall programming. We’ll also be starting our Children’s Sermons, Joyful Noise offerings, and other opportunities for children and youth of all ages to participate in worship, fellowship, and Christian Education. We’ll also mark the start of the community’s school year with a Blessing of the Backpacks.
If you don’t have children, Rally Day and Homecoming Sunday is still for you! Maybe you’ve been away for awhile because of the pandemic or the general business of life. Maybe you’ve gotten out of the routine of gathering with us for worship and fellowship. That’s okay! Sunday, September 11 is a great opportunity to start a new season and a new routine with your church family at Christ’s Church at Lowhill!
Whoever you are, and wherever you are on your life’s journey, please join us!
